Rules & Regulations

1.  The School is closed on public holidays and on Sundays.
2.  No classes will be held when storm warning signal No.8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Warning is in force. However participants will be notified for alternative session. Classes will resume if N0.8 / Black Rainstorm Warning is lowered two hours before the lesson starts. ( if Yellow or Red Rainstorm warning is held, all classes are held as normal.)
3.  If students cannot attend any lesson, please notify the School  5  working days ahead. If you notify the school by email, it will only be valid with the email reply confirmation from the academy. Please keep it to avoid arguments. Please state your full name, class, contact phone no. registered in the academy. 
4.  Students are responsible for all material fee for absence or tardiness including sickness without five working days’ notice. The lessons missed are to be arranged with the School at other time.
5.  All fee paid are not refundable, nor can they be transferred or used as tuition fee or material fee for any courses.
6.  No outside listeners, no tape recording nor video taking is allowed in the School. Students enrolling in the courses should agree
 that all the courses go with practical exercises or home assignments as in FM with the materials prepared by the School. 
Students are prohibited to take only the lecture part nor can they just listen and watch the demonstrations.
7.  All tuition fees do not include material fees. Students are to purchase unified materials prepared by the School for practical 
exercises. The material fees are to be paid lesson by lesson. (Students are prohibited to bring along their own floral materials.)
8.  Students have to place a material deposit for each course enrolled*. The deposit is refundable whether the student complete the whole course or not. after deducting any unpaid material fee. *Deposit fee : CP-HK$1,800. FM,PB-HK$800. Others HK$600
9.  Additional rules for FM which students must agree before they enroll :
  9.1  For course FM, the practical assignments must be done at home (not in the school) and the unified floral materials are 
to be prepared by and bought from the academy. Students are not allowed to take the lecture/theoretical part only.
  9.2  FM students must agree to pay for the 2 sets of notes fee on theoretical lecture and plant care each set at HK$300.- and 
a set of standard photos to aid home assignments at HK$150.- (30 pieces) The above notes and photos are delivered lesson
by lesson only to students who attend the class. Students who are absent or who have applied for leave or students who withdraw from the course have no right to claim the notes and photos from the academy. Students on leave or absent can
get them when they have the make up class. For students withdrawing from the course, they can get back the theoretical
notes fees and photos fees paid (on a pro rata basis) on the lessons which they have not taken.     
10.  Students are free to buy any vases, containers, floral foam, scissors and other materials but they cannot be borrowed outside the School. Students have to compensate the School for any destruction at its selling price.
11.  The School reserves the right to dismiss any student at its discretion.
