This course explores different practical mechanics and sustainable techniques to arrange flowers in different forms of vases without the use of flower foam or Kenzan (also known as frog pins). Going completely foam free as we strive to minimize our carbon footprint and impact on the environment whilst still creating beautiful floral table arrangements.

Methods taught throughout the course will be done so in a as sustainable way as possible.

  • Learn to create arrangements and understand which flowers compliment each other.
  • Create fresh and interesting flower arrangements without using floral foam.
  • Learn the latest flower arranging techniques with the environment and nature in mind.

Suitable for floristry beginners or those wanting to expand and grow their floristry skills. Perfect for those who enjoy having fresh flowers at home. This course focuses on practical skills, techniques taught can then be interpreted into everyday flower arrangements with different design styles: European Country style, Modern Natural style or explore further in our NUFLEUR Contemporary Minimalistic series.

Remarks: This course teaches 12 practical techniques for freehand vase designs, while our NF series focuses on further exploring various practical foamfree skills to create contemporary design. The techniques taught in these two courses are different, NF further elaborates the use of foamfree methods in modern contemporary design. The skills taught in ECO will not be included in the NF course. Students can attend NF courses after completing ECO.

We recommend students to have some experience from EFA Modern European Flower Arrangement in order to grasp the concepts better and thus be able to nurture your own creativity.
